    Hi,
I’ve been studying for the IELTS for about a month and a half and I’m currently stuck on the writing section, task 1 in particular. I find the task totally difficult and I can never be sure what to include and what not when I look at a table, graph, etc. There are too many numbers and I know I’m supposed to summarize the main points but it’s really hard to identify them! :( (( I’m at my wit’s end! It’s really frustrating, and I think it’s even harder when they give you 2 or more charts instead of 1! What should I do?Please help :(

      Hi Asya,

I think your problem is quite common. Just aim for organising the data, group it into paragraphs.

If there are two charts – that’s good because you have a small introduction. Paragraph 2 is one chart, Paragraph 3 is the second, followed by a brief summary.

Send me an essay you have written and I’ll have look.

      See you,

      Ben
