Kim took this massive step and finally passed IELTS and gets to Australia. She now has an opportunity to move on with life by moving to Australia as soon as possible via the Skilled Visa program.
Band 8 in the Reading
Kim did practise test after practice test using the Pearson Longman IELTS Reading Book (Margaret Mathews), and the Cambridge English books.
Kim said the books are slightly harder than the actual IELTS test. On exam day she actually completed the test before the time limit.
IELTS Writing from Band 6 to 7!
Kim said:
“The tutor never offered any real help with my essays. They just said it just didn’t sound right and wasn’t very helpful at all. A MASSIVE step for me was getting feedback from your tutors on how to improve my writing skills”.
We guaranteed her a Band 7
She also worked with the same tutor every day.
She quickly got an idea of what to write about and how to organise her ideas.
We helped her understand what to write.
We would clarify anything she didn’t get or and help her improve her essay writing exam skills.
IELTS Speaking
Kim said the best way for her to prepare was to watch movies and TV shows.
She was also mimicking the sentences and recording herself.
In the exam, she worried her part 3 was possibly over personal. But she used a large collection of connecting words.
